Six Pan Flat Top High Efficiency Island Range with Built in Griddle 

Mr Ken Blow chose to use Hopkins Catering Equipment to supply and install the new frying range, catering equipment and refrigeration for his new 160 seat fish and chip restaurant development in Conisborough, south Yorkshire.

Elite shop fitters carried out the building work and shop fit to transform the huge building which had previously been a pub into a first class restaurant.

Hopkins supplied a bespoke 6 pan flat top High Efficiency Island fish and chip frying range with extra-large high capacity 710 x610mm (28” x 24”) pans each with 4 frying baskets and also a flat plate griddle built in.

Mr Blow had used our fish and chip shop equipment in another of his shops but competition was fierce from other high end manufacturers also keen to win this extremely prestigious order!

In the end it was the high quality, performance, economy and unbeatable value for money offered by Hopkins that won the day and we were very happy to win this one!! 

Additional factors played a part. The fact that our fish and chip shop equipment is supported by the largest service department in the industry with 14 service engineers and extremely fast, unrivalled callout times. 

Also the fact that the future maintenance repair costs are much lower than some of the competition with reasonably priced spare parts and pans which are removable when they eventually wear out (after many years) so can be replaced without having to cut out an old one at extreme expense unlike the competition.

Other fish and chip shop equipment we supplied to Kenny’s include the following; Two Foster walk in coldrooms and one walk in freezer room with remote refrigeration equipment, XL twelve drawer 30 stone and eight drawer 20 stone wet fish refrigerators, Carpigiani soft serve ice cream machine, Franke automatic coffee machine, Lincat water boilers and Bains Maries, Foster S/S multideck Display, Staycold sliding glass door pop fridge, Hobart Baraid pass through dishwasher, IMC waste disposal unit, Tefcold undercounter refrigerators, freezers and back bar drinks coolers and Falcon Dominator 6 burner oven range.
