3 Pan High Efficiency Counter Frying Range with L Shaped Counters

Hopkins Catering Equipment was recently chosen by the Chester Green Fish Bar to work with them on their new venture to open a take-away in the busy City Road area of Derby.

After an initial meeting at the Hopkins factory to discuss the performance and design features of our Hi Efficiency Frying Range we were asked to conduct a site survey and provide some design options for the shop layout and catering equipment required to cater for their chosen menu.

Juewy, one of the shop owners was keen to present the shop as a Traditional Fish and Chip shop but wanted to really open up the menu choice for their customers.  To ensure that there was plenty of room for both preparation and customer service they opted for a Hopkins 3 Pan Hi Efficiency Frying Range with counters to both sides incorporating an “L” shaped design. This design really makes full use of the internal walls of the shop which were then kitted out with other cooking appliances and an over-head canopy extraction system to one wall and preparation and storage equipment on the other, all with adjacent counters from which to serve from.

The chosen optional extra’s on the frying range were the curved, brushed stainless steel panels with an embossed, swimming fish design, the polished pillars with lazer cut detail displaying the shop’s name back-lit for maximum impact, and the “L” shaped counter section.  To finish off the overall effect we installed subtle green down lighting to the column sections to match the internal and external colour scheme of the shop; Perfect…..

Other fish and chip shop equipment installed in this shop includes:- Bain marries, fridges and freezers, bespoke preparation benches and sinks, potato , fish and batter preparation equipment, a dough machine, pizza oven, a canopy extraction system, a chargrill, a tandoor oven, boiling tops and kebab grills.
