Some of the more bespoke and interesting fabrications Hopkins have been asked to create have been for TV and film. Creating props for TV shows and films required sticking to the clients brief and their own specifications with creative input coming from Hopkins for the design, manufacture and technical aspects of developing the props.

Hopkins have developed many different examples of props which has included fake knuckle dusters and realistic swords that have been made to the clients own designs and were to be used in fight scenes. Another more technical design was the manufacture of the theatrical dagger which had a handle filled with blood which pumped down the dagger to give the effect of a bleeding wound.
