Residential Home Commercial Kitchen Project Management

Residential property development company Aspery homes develop high quality residential homes. In 2008 Asprey Homes completed the purchase of its largest strategic project to date at Crown Lane in Bromley, Kent. Excellent locations aesthetically pleasing architecture and landscaping, innovative interior specification and attention to detail are the hallmarks of Aspery.

Set among 24 acres together with a substantial area of public open space, the  Crown Meadow care home provides care facilities, a medical centre, and around 800 new homes including in excess of 500 private two and three bedroom family houses and one and two bedroom apartments. Asprey Homes worked in conjunction with Bromley Council to fulfill its housing requirements with a particular focus on ensuring that new accommodation for the elderly was included in the form of two extra care housing centers.

Hopkins Catering Equipment was approached by Asprey Homes to design, supply and install the commercial kitchen within the Crown Meadow care facility. Skip Appleyard our projects manager attended site and designed the kitchen layout to gain its full capability. Aspects of the design included planning, design, catering equipment layout and equipment specifications.

Various items of heavy duty catering equipment were supplied, such as combi steamers, gas cookers and twin tank fryers. Hopkins supplied and installed all ducting and a ventilation canopy within the kitchen. Vast amounts of fabrication and storage racks were also included in the project.
