On the 15th February 2011 Hopkins delivered a new 4 pan high efficiency island frying range and made to measure counter to Chamberlains Quality Fish and Chips. The range features hinged lids, two wide chip boxes, a pie display and a four pot bain marie included into the frying range front. The new shop has gone from strength to strength winning the Best Newcomer Award 2012 at the 24th annual Fish and Chip Awards.
The awards began in 1987 to raise standards in the sector and have gone on to become the most prestigious event in the fish and chip industry. 500 people attended this year’s event on the Albert Embankment in London. The judging panel is made up of a broad range of industry experts with judging starting off in March.
